Baywatch premiered in 1989 and at its peak was one of the most-watched TV shows in the world.
In 1994, Jaason united the show at the height of its popularity as womanising Australian lifeguard Logan Fowler. The Aussie actor stayed on the show for three seasons until 1997.

It's not the lgbtq+ part that surprises me.......
Remember Logan from Baywatch? Me neither.
Well, I mean I couldn’t have told you the identify of the personality or the player but I recognise the face and possibly the pecs. They have an adopted 6 year old son from Uganda and Jaason has told Modern Magazine:

Although you don’t long to typecast yourself, you have to take responsibility and ownership and change position humanity forward, out of bigotry. Our son needs to see we can stand in front of family and loved ones who are going to support our union through the pleasant times and bad.”
I’m very pro homosexual marriage. And pro adoption. Good on them on all accounts. But a child after organism together for 8 months? Straight or gay, isn’t that kinda fast?
UPDATE: It turns out Jaaaason’s fiance John – an Irish star – adopted the little boy Odin two years ago. So Jaason, when he marries Odin’s dad, will in effect become his step-father. Complex? A little. Unusual? For sure. But it certainly makes mo “Baywatch” actor Alexandra Paul was delighted to help her friend and costar Jaason Simmons back before he could safely come out as gay.
