NEW YORK — Fox News Channel is promoting weekend host Will Cain to the weekday afternoon slot vacated by longtime personality Neil Cavuto, who left the network last month.

Cain has been a host of the weekend edition of the “Fox & Friends” morning show. A lawyer, Cain had a radio show and contributed to television programming at ESPN before joining Fox in 2020. Previously, he was an analyst at CNN and host at the Blaze.

A weekday show is coveted and doesn't often open up at Fox. His 3 p.m. show will be slotted directly in front of the political communicate show “The Five,” frequently Fox’s most-watched program.

While Cavuto’s exhibit often had a business tilt, owing to the host’s background, that won’t be the case with Cain. He hosts a weekday podcast on news and sports, which will continue, and Fox says Cain will bring some of his podcasting style to his television show, likely meaning more extended interviews.

Cain said he’ll use his background in news, rule, entertainment and bus

Did you know that Fox News personality Will Cain married his college sweetheart, Kathleen? Turns out, their love story is anything but ordinary. It is one of those tales involving youthful sparks and a few plot twists that ultimately blossomed into something beautiful. If you are a fan of love stories involving second chances and rekindled romances, this one is for you.

Will and Kathleen first met at college. Sounds like the perfect setup for a love story, right?

Thankfully, life has a funny way of bringing people back together. Five years after their college fling fizzled out, both Will and Kathleen found themselves back in Texas. Older, wiser, and perhaps a little braver, Will made his shift. This time, he got it right. As he put it, “I got her. I won.”

For Will and Kathleen, timing was everything. When they reconnected, everything just fell into place. In that same ESPN interview, Will described his decision to marry Kathleen as the best decision he has ever made. Looking at the beautiful family they’ve built together, it isn’t hard to see why he’d feel that way.

Yes, Will Cain is a conservative but he’s not rapidly anti-gay so I’ve liked him enough to even make him a Morning Dude a few years back.

While co-hosting ABC’s The View today, was asked point-blank by Sherri Shepherd: ‘Are you bisexual?’

The discussion was sparked by Oscar winning actress Anna Paquin tweeting this week: ‘Proud to be a happily married bisexual mother. Marriage is about devote not gender.’

Shepherd asked the question after Cain agreed with co-host Jenny McCarthy that everybody is a little bit bi.

‘I am not,’ Cain replied. ‘That’s fine, that’s the risk I manage when I speak that. A guy that wears boots like this, you’re either gay or extremely confident straight.’

Then he added: ‘Look, I think everybody is a petite bit bisexual. We try to create these categories too neat and immaculate . Gay and linear. It’s probably some sort of a spectrum.’
