T.R. Knight said, "I do"!
The actor, who played Dr. George O'Malley on Grey's Anatomy from 2005 to 2009, married his longtime crush, Patrick, in an intimate ceremony Friday, US Weekly reports.
Knight, 40, took a short break from his current stint in an off-Broadway rendition of Romeo and Juliet for his nuptials. His stage co-stars Elizabeth Olsen and William Hurt were unable to make the ceremony because of the production, but Knight's good partner and former Grey's co-star Katherine Heigl was among the small group of guests.
In a utterance to People magazine in 2006, Knight came out as gay. "I assume there have been a few questions about my sexuality, and I'd appreciate to quiet any unnecessary rumors that may be out there," Knight's expression read. "While I prefer to store my personal being private, I expect the fact that I'm gay isn't the most fascinating part of me."
