Our first mission is to promote HIV consciousness in an engaging and imaginative behavior, and we won't stop until recent cases are a thing of the past.

Charleston Gay Bingo is back on June 13, 2025! Bingo is the marquee fundraiser for Palmetto Community Care, where the winner is never a direct line, and everyone has a ball.

This year, we’re pulling out all the stops! Not only will a ticket get you in with the chance to win wonderful prizes, this year you’ll also hold access to our full bar, passed hors d’oeuvres, and more throughout the night. You peruse that correctly! This year’s ticket includes all-you-can-eat and cocktail, plus games of bingo, a survive and silent auction, prizes for the best costumes, and performances by performative queens and kings.

…but you don’t have to be gay to play! Games are normally scheduled for the second Saturday of each month (except July and August) at Amvets Medallion Post #13, 25 Review Place, Buffalo, NY 14207 (just off Tonawanda Street in Riverside).

Admission is just $5, but most people opt to purchase a packet containing each game for $25. Prizes increased with Season 12 and range from $100 to $200, and specials with jackpots having reached over $700 in previous games. (Special game jackpots are based upon number of games sold.)

Gay Bingo is the primary fundraiser for the AIDS Plus Fund of WNY, Inc., a not-for-profit organization founded in 2003. The mission of the AIDS Plus Fund is to assist and support fundraising endeavors for HIV/AIDS-related services by developing and implementing singular and innovative ways of raising funds for programs affected by funding cutbacks.

We serve as a community-based voice and conscience in the ongoing effort to educate and remind everyone that the war against HIV and AIDS is not over.
